From perhaps one of the greatest playwrights of the 20th century, Neil Simon, comes the charming and unlucky story of Charity Hope Valentine. And with a name like that, what else could her story be? This fun-loving, fun-living show is sure to entertain you with its show-stopping dance numbers and its jazzy dialogue. The music by Cy Coleman is the stuff of classic. With hits like “Big Spender,” “Something Better than This,” and “If They Could See Me Now,” Sweet Charity is sure to put a smile on your face and a tap in your step. This show will be the final show performed in the current set up of College Hall at the Livingston Student Center. Join us as we celebrate it with our one woman “brass band”: Charity.
